Street photography

I wanted to use Google maps to take photos for two reasons. Firstly, because I wanted the photo’s to reflect our time. Secondly, I wanted each person to be unaware of my presents so the daily life I was recording was not disturbed.

Yes, I wanted to spy on them.

Turns out, like most technology in my life, Google was one step ahead.

I found a button called ‘history’ on my phone. It had months and months worth of data describing where I had been on each day.

I decided to use the data to find the road I had walked along the most in the last 3 month and take a photo of every person along that virtual journey.
